Apartment J
The interior of this apartment is defined by walls fully finished in microcement, creating a raw and monolithic architectural expression. In addition to the walls, the MDF fronts of the built-in furniture are also clad in microcement, establishing visual continuity throughout the space.
Within the living room and kitchen, polished golden brass surfaces dominate as accent elements, creating a refined contrast against the textured and tactile character of the microcement finishes. The kitchen countertop is crafted from the same veneered MDF used throughout the interior. The veneer was specially treated and impregnated to meet the functional requirements of a working surface, providing resistance to moisture and scratches.
The same palette of materials and tones continues throughout the apartment, allowing the microcement-clad built-in elements to transition seamlessly from ceiling to wall and into the space itself, where they evolve into integrated furniture forms. This continuous material language creates a cohesive and sculptural interior identity.
